Malaysia and China will recognize each other’s university degrees as part of growing educational ties between the two countries, reports Bernama, the official Malaysian news agency. Malaysia wants to lure more Chinese students to the Southeast Asian nation and broaden opportunities for its own students in China, said Malaysia’s ambassador to China, Datuk Iskandar Sarudin. He said the new arrangement will make it easier for Malaysian students to study subjects like aerospace and automotive engineering in China. The two nations are also discussing the possibility of Chinese institutions establishing campuses in Malaysia.
