Kenya’s president suspended the country’s higher-education minister from his post on Tuesday after a court decided he would stand trial for fraud charges, reports Voice of America. The minister, William Ruto, is accused of defrauding the state-owned Kenya Pipeline Company of $1.2-million. He has said the charges are fabrications made up by his political enemies.
