Funds for Libyan Scholarship Program in North America Are Restored

The Canadian Bureau for International Education announced that it has received financing from the Libyan government to continue a scholarship program that supports 2,500 Libyan students studying in Canada and the United States. After the United Nations and Western countries placed economic sanctions on Libya, the scholarship funds were frozen, jeopardizing the health insurance, living allowances, and tuition for the students. The new financial support will cover costs until the end of May 2012.

    Cormac McCarthy may not know it, but his understanding of human nature helps us counter the liberal-progressive project which denies human nature and bases its agenda on a fundamentally flawed belief system.

    Jay Bilas was not only a truly outstanding (all-American) basketball player at Duke University,  but also a highly successful law student of mine, before developing so famously as an insightful sports commentator.  His views on the proper treatment of university atheletes are, in my view, surely worthy of close atttention and respect.
