The Australian Human Rights Commissions is criticizing the government’s new international-student strategy, reports The Age newspaper. The group said government efforts to stop the decline in Indian and other overseas students ignores some big issues like transportation difficulties for students, housing, and safety concerns. For example, the commission would like the police to hire personnel who are familiar with international-student safety and sexual-harassment issues.
