Private vocational-education institutions are criticizing the Australian government for introducing rules that ease foreign students’ path to visas for university education, but not for vocational courses, reports The Australian. The change loosens financial requirements for students who want to enroll at universities. Previously, all foreign students coming to Australia were required to show that they had financial support for their entire period of study in the country, as well as return airplane tickets.
