Mike Gravel Talks Up His Long-Shot Bid to Harvard Democrats
Mike Gravel (yes, he is still running for president) spoke to Harvard University Democrats on Friday, arguing that he has more charisma than Barack Obama and attacking the news media for failing to take his candidacy seriously, according to the Harvard Crimson.
Mr. Gravel, a Democrat and former U.S. senator from Alaska, also told the student newspaper after his speech on campus that he has no intention of endorsing the eventual Democratic nominee if he does not win the nomination. (So far he hasn’t won any delegates in the Democratic primaries.)
He also said that he would consider running as a Libertarian or as a member of another third party, the newspaper reported.

How do you solve a problem like Gravel? How do you mend a broken heart? What is the sound of one Mike clapping? The moon in a dewdrop, we perk the O-Man-O-Man.

Mike Gravel, bless his heart, is the Lon Chaney, Jr. of politics: every month, when the moon is full, he turns into a candidate.
