RE: Caltech’s Astronomy Center. What a terrific waste of money and space. When universities across the nation are struggling to pay faculty and staff, maintain their buildings, and teach students, Caltech publicizes its newest building. I’m happy and envious of them, but wish their donors would tithe 10% of the donations to the public university systems, where state funding continues to decrease year after year. I wish this Administration would support a tax credit to donations to public education, K-12 and beyond.
