Palomar College to Expand

July 26, 2007, 10:30 am

Palomar College is building new campuses using money from a $694-million bond.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Palomar College has a goal of opening up to four buildings, or about 75,000 square feet, on a new campus in Fallbrook by 2011. Construction would also include parking spaces and sports fields.

The college hopes to open 150,000 square feet of building space by 2022. “Ultimately, the campus is expected to have 13 buildings and serve about 8,500 students in about 30 years,” the article says.
