We’ve received a few more renderings of the Net+Work+Camp+Us design for a residence hall to serve the needs of future students. As we reported yesterday, the four young architects who collaborated on the Net+Work+Camp+Us design were chosen Friday as winners of the second round of a nationwide competition to design the ideal residence hall for the 21st century.

The complex surrounds a public area that flows into lower-level spaces, which might include coffee shops and classrooms. Similar styles of seating could be used inside and out to heighten the connection between interior and exterior spaces. On the upper floors, students could program electronic displays on the exterior walls of their modular rooms.

Green roofs on one-story structures in the complex create additional outdoor space that could be reserved for use by residents of the complex.
