The new five-story building serves as both the gateway for the university’s emerging downtown Phoenix campus and the new home of one of the largest nursing programs in the U.S. The glass-and-copper structure includes a 200-seat auditorium, classrooms, facilities for students, offices for faculty members, and research space for the departments of nursing, exercise and wellness, nutrition, and health sciences. The building is a result of a collaboration that brought together the City of Phoenix, the university, and the nursing school.
