The architecture firm S/L/A/M Collaborative has sent The Chronicle a statement about a lawsuit over a University of Connecticut building designed by the firm:
“The S/L/A/M Collaborative is disappointed to be identified in the State of Connecticut’s lawsuit regarding the construction of the University of Connecticut law library. Since 1996 we have fully cooperated with the State Department of Public Works and the University of Connecticut in addressing these issues. This includes the sharing of expert findings from an independent investigation conducted in 2003. As soon as deficiencies were determined, we offered timely solutions and to this day, we remain committed to the restoration of this state landmark.”
