The University of Paisley, in Scotland, merged with Bell College this year and is building a new campus in Ayr. The firm RMJM Architects, which recently merged with the firm Hillier in the United States, is the designer.

The new campus will be built on brownfield, and buildings will incorporate a number of green features, including rainwater harvesting and clean-power generation. The buildings will also incorporate various outside “garden rooms” — green spaces intended to link the built environment with the landscape.
