The University of La Verne’s new, 40,000-square-foot campus center takes advantage of its location. Walls of glass offer views of the nearby San Gabriel Mountains, while a rooftop garden that is part of a top-floor conference center will lure visitors outside in the good weather for which Southern California is famous.
The $26.1-million building, designed by Gonzalez Goodale Architects, also houses a cafe, social space, smart classrooms, student-affairs offices, and offices and meeting space for student organizations. In addition, the facility accommodates the university’s Learning Enhancement Center and Career Services Center.
The building is expected to be the first in the city of La Verne to earn a LEED silver rating.

I must say, usually these photos look better than the real deal, but the real deal, with students about and art inside and out, looks even better.JR
