19 Awards for Campus Plans, Buildings, and Landscapes

The Society for College and University Planning and the Committee on Architecture for Education of the American Institute of Architects have announced 19 winners of 2008 awards for campus planning, architecture, and landscape architecture.

Awards for campus planning went to:

A master plan for the faculty of arts and sciences at the Aga Khan University, in Karachi, Pakistan, by Payette
A campus plan for Princeton University, by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners
A landscape master plan for Bennington College, by Reed Hilderbrand
The Riverside Housing Initiative at Harvard University, by Elkus Manfredi Architects
Infill student housing at the University of California, by EHDD Architecture

Architecture awards went to:

The ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance at Williams College, by William L. Rawn Associates Architects
The Alice Paul Residence Hall at Swarthmore College, by William L. Rawn Associates Architects
Studzinski Recital Hall at Bowdoin College, by William L. Rawn Associates Architects
Dalton Hall at Bryn Mawr College, by MGA Partners Architects
The performance and studio-arts campus at Columbus State University’s RiverPark, by HGA Architects and Engineers
The PDSI (Physics, DMSE, Spectroscopy, and Infrastructure) Project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, by Payette
The Riley Center at Mississippi State University’s Meridian Campus, by Martinez & Johnson Architecture
Green Street Arts Center at Wesleyan University, by Centerbrook Architects and Planners
Lewis Walpole Library at Yale University, by Centerbrook Architects and Planners
