At work, we have “Barracuda Spam Firewall” installed, ostensibly to divert spam from my inbox and into a special place where it can be classified, recorded, and killed. Its performance this week:
- Number of spam emails Barracuda has trapped and reported to me: 7.
- Number of spam emails that made it to my inbox: 108.
Is there any particular reason we are still using this software? I don’t think it’s because of its remarkable effectiveness.
