We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Books
The University of Texas at Austin is ridding its undergraduate library of all those pesky books. All 90,000 volumes will be distributed to other facilities on campus so the undergraduate library can be converted into a 24-hour technology center. There, students will be able to work collaboratively on computers, receive technology training, and look up books—that are available online. (Contra Costa Times)
