Vancouver Film School Will Offer Scholarships via YouTube Contest
YouTube and the Vancouver Film School are teaming up to help aspiring filmmakers—and create a little buzz about the school in the process. The video channel and the film school are promoting a contest to see who can come up with the best video, animation, or pitch around the theme “What matters to you.”
The film school will narrow the submissions down to 10 finalists. Then YouTube viewers will choose the three winners. They’ll receive full scholarships to any one of the film school’s 14 entertainment-arts programs. The deadline for contest entries is May 9. —Andrea L. Foster
