U. of Missouri Bars Financial-Aid Offices From Having Lenders on Staff

The University of Missouri system’s interim president, Gordon Lamb, signed an executive order Monday prohibiting university personnel from accepting payment for travel or gifts from lenders and barring university financial-aid offices from having lenders on staff , the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. The new code of conduct comes amid a national inquiry into alleged unethical dealings between some universities and lenders, the reporter, Kavita Kumar, writes. Read the whole story.
