Proposing cutting about 2,000 adjunct positions at the medical school, eliminating 40 to 45 positions at the dental school, increasing class sizes, reducing the number of classes offered, and cutting pay temporarily by 1.15 percent for faculty and staff members and by 2.3 percent for 85 top administrators.
