The University of Colorado’s governing board has picked Bruce Benson, a prominent Republican oilman and education activist, as the sole finalist for the job of CU president, The Denver Post

Elsewhere in Colorado, Karen Clos Bleeker, vice president of educational services and chief academic officer at Temple College, in San Antonio, Tex., has been tapped to lead the Community College of Denver, starting April 1, the Denver Business Journal
reports.
Meanwhile, the embattled president of Chicago State University, Elnora D. Daniel, has said she will leave when her contract runs out at the end of June, Scott Carlson
