Before looking back to the posts, all of us at ProfHacker want to congratulate the apparently tireless Julie Meloni for passing her oral exams this week!
- The week ended with two excellent how-tos: George on teaching with Wordle, and Amy on getting started with Zotero. Earlier in the week, George pointed to a search engine for all types of Creative Commons-licensed content, I offered five free ways to send text messages to groups, and how to ramp-up quickly on Robert’s Rules.
- By far the most commented post of the week was Alex’s (really quite mild) defense of RateMyProfessors.com.
- Natalie suggested thinking of balance as a process, rather than a state. I linked to a significant new defense of academic freedom. Billie asked a popular question:”What’s on your iPod?“
- In standing posts this week, Billie proposed hummus for lunch, while I copped to a crush on Umberto Eco.
