The High-Tech Election
If national politicians are turning on to the grass-roots appeal of campaigning by blog, it's a safe bet that student-government candidates are doing so as well. At the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, for example, two of the three candidates for student-government president have started blogs on behalf of their parties.
One of the blogging parties, Npower, is running on a tech-happy platform that includes a goal to increase the number of university courses available as podcasts. (Daily Nebraskan)
