Spam on Their Plate

Speakers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's 2006 Spam Conference, held yesterday, discussed various methods of stemming the tide of junk e-mail. But the most commonly used tactic, e-mail filtering, barely even registered on most participants' radar screens.
