Some Stimulus Projects Arouse Political Questions

The $787-billion economic-stimulus plan approved this year by Congress is paying for several university studies attracting criticism because of their sexual content, including research at Indiana University on proper condom use, an investigation at Syracuse University of sexual "hookups" among adolescents, and a study at the University of Maryland at Baltimore of how methamphetamine can enhance motivation for female sexual behavior.
