Sabato Uses YouTube to Encourage Students to Vote

In a new video on YouTube, the pundit, professor, and author Larry Sabato speaks to college students about the growing diversity in American politics and the importance of voting and volunteering in local and federal elections.

Mr. Sabato, the director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, encourages students to become more familiar with the political process and system. He says he anticipates that young voters will turn out in record numbers on November 4, but he nevertheless asks students to spread the word and encourage roommates, classmates, and friends to cast ballots.

He calls this year’s election a “turning point” and says it has “enabled America to turn a page.”—David DeBolt
