According to an article in Macleans, Judith Woodsworth, president of Laurentian University since 2002, will become president of Concordia University, in Montreal, effective August 1. See a university press release for more information. Richard L. Pattenaude, chancellor of the University of Maine system, has recommended that Selma Botman, executive vice chancellor and provost at the City University of New York, be appointed president of the University of Southern Maine, The Boston Globe reports.
