Particle Collider Will Restart at Half Power, Officials Say
The Large Hadron Collider will run at half power for the first months after it restarts in mid-November, officials at the European Center for Nuclear Research said today. The announcement followed a report in The New York Times this week about problems with electrical connections that have plagued the giant particle collider, located just outside Geneva, Switzerland.
