Online Game Recreates Virginia Tech Shootings

The creator of an online, two-dimensional shooter game modeled after the shootings at Virginia Tech now says the game was a joke. In the game, V-Tech Rampage, the player assumes the role of the gunman, Seung-Hui Cho, and tries to kill other students on the campus. The game developer, who does not identify himself or herself, initially demanded as much as $2,000 to take the game down and $3,000 for an apology. The game has been available online since mid-May. --Andrea L. Foster
