Not Buying It
Over at On Being a Scientist and a Woman, ScienceWoman laments that many female scientists have accepted as a foregone conclusion that they must “choose” between having an academic career and children. She isn’t buying it, though: “I will not be a foregone conclusion. I will be a productive assistant professor. I will be an awesome mother. Just you watch,” she writes. Read more.
