March, Now 50% Madder

As if the NCAA Tournament isn't already enough of a drain on office productivity, this year's competition could be even more of a distraction. Instead of logging on to a sports-themed Web site and incessantly hitting the reload button, basketball fans this year will be able to watch streaming video of all tournament games on their computers. Last year CBS aired the video streams to Web users willing to pay a $19.95 fee, but now the online broadcasts are available free. Some hoops aficionados are already speculating that the streams will end up frustrating fans: CBS says it will be able to handle about 200,000 viewers, but any additional viewers will have to sit in "virtual waiting rooms" until spots open up.
