Libraries Focus on Freedom

Libraries around the world, including many on college campuses, will mark the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, with events that focus on topics like freedom, democracy, and citizenship. A few are holding discussions about the USA Patriot Act, which law-enforcement officials have used to obtain library records. (The Chronicle, free link)
