Law Professors Start Video Blog
If you’ve always wondered what your favorite academic blogger looks like, you might be in luck. Some professors are getting in front of the camera to try out video blogging.
One example is LawClinic.TV, run by Fordham University Law School. In it, various law professors and students stand in front of court buildings talking about the challenges of working in law clinics. Other issues covered by the blog include “legal education, justice, community, equality, the rule of law and so much else,” according to the “about” page of the site, written by Ian Weinstein, a law professor and supervising attorney there. The videos are fast-loading and short, but more information is conveyed through the old-fashioned text on the blog than in the video clips themselves.
Do you know of an academic video blog? If so, share the address in the comments section. —Jeffrey R. Young
