A Contest for College Computing’s Finest
The NCAA basketball championship isn’t the only major collegiate competition taking place this month. Students from around the world are heading to Shanghai, China, for the finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest—a competition that challenges 78 teams to solve a set of tricky computing problems in five hours. It has been three years since a U.S. team took a gold medal in the worldwide event.
