50 Students With Swine Flu Are Under Voluntary Quarantine at Emory U.
Emory University is using an open dormitory to house about 50 students with swine flu who have volunteered to be quarantined from the rest of the student body while they recover, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Emory, one of several universities to devise isolation schemes as part of their plans for dealing with swine flu, says the dormitory can handle an additional 50 students.

Well our university has 11 cases and counting, another one in the state has several hundred cases... they are going to reach the point that quarantinin students in a separate location isn't going to work because the numbers will be too big.

Are these confirmed H1N1 cases, or just suspected based on symptoms? I hate to sound heartless, but I think "swine flu" is becoming the new anything & everything, and possibly the easy excuse to miss class.
