Audit Is Latest Salvo in Fight Over Cuts at Pennsylvania's State Universities

Pennsylvania's state-owned universities are using questionable fiscal policies to justify proposed cuts in their faculties and programs, says the union that represents faculty members at the 14 institutions. But officials at the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education say that is a misleading conclusion based on a flawed audit of seven of those universities.
