Young Drama Critic Seeks Work

To the Editor:

I'm thrilled that Carlin Romano is seeking passionate drama critics under 40, because we often wonder who's looking for us ("Where Are the Drama Critics?," The Chronicle Review, April 8). I am a 26-year-old theater type who has chosen criticism as my art form -- yes, art form -- and my professional dream is for my work to land in the pages of what Romano calls "the middlebrow journals." I want to hash out theater in magazines that people outside the field
