Yale Will Spend $500-Million on Medical-School Renovations
Yale University will spend $500-million over the next decade to improve its medical-school facilities.
Much of the money -- $176-million -- will finance a new building housing six floors of laboratories. The expenditure, which is also aimed at renovating existing laboratories, will increase the medical school's lab space by 25 percent.
In January, Yale officials announced plans to spend $500-million on science and engineering.
