Yale Researchers Design College-Admissions Test Said to Measure Creative and Practical Skills
As the debate over affirmative action grows more heated, researchers at Yale University are developing a test that they say would help reduce the performance gaps among students of different races who take the SAT.
Robert Sternberg, a professor of psychology, is leading a study of a revised college-admissions test that broadens the scope of the current SAT to measure creative and practical skills as well as memory and analytical ability.
