Yale Music School Gets $100-Million Gift
Students at Yale University's School of Music will get a free ride starting next fall, thanks to an anonymous donation of $100-million.
Thomas C. Duffy, acting dean of the graduate-level School of Music, said last week that he could not elaborate on whether the money was being given by a single donor or group of donors, or if the gift was coming in cash. He also would not disclose if it was being given by alumni of the school.
