Yahoo Offers Software for Online Courses
Yahoo, the popular online portal, has tossed its hat into the online-learning ring, with Yahoo Education, a Web site that provides course-management software and reference materials for use by colleges and secondary and elementary schools (http://education.yahoo.com).
One noteworthy feature of the service is something it does not include: a charge. Professors and students will see banner advertisements on the Yahoo site, but it will cost them nothing. Blackboard.com also offers
