A rash of data breaches has more colleges seeking new coverage for the liabilities that follow

Dennis A. Trinkle has been the chief information officer of Valparaiso University for only three months, and he is already worried about all the data that could get away. What if a disgruntled employee pried into a database and made off with alumni records? Or a hacker gained access to a server with students' grades and credit-card numbers? Or an employee posted private information online?
