Women's Studies at American U. in Cairo
To the Editor:
The Chronicle's article about the nonrenewal of junior-faculty contracts at the American University in Cairo unfortunately leaves the impression that women's studies are somehow problematic at the university ("At American U. in Cairo, Professors Fear Censorship and a Revolving Door," June 9). Nothing could be farther from the truth.
