Women Who Become Administrators

For some time now, I have appreciated your occasional pieces on being a university administrator. I have found them to be thoughtful and to provide faculty members (those who are willing to hear) with some insight into that other side of academic life. But the piece by Carol Becker on becoming a dean was particularly brilliant ("Trial by Fire: a Tale of Gender and Leadership," The Review, January 25).
