Women Earn Less in Advancement

Women in college advancement offices, who outnumber their male counterparts by almost two to one, earn far less than the men, even when they have the same levels of experience and responsibility, a new salary survey shows.

"Women aren't being paid what they should," said Scott H. Levine, a senior marketing executive at Carnegie Communications, a marketing-research company that caters to higher education.
