Neighbors of the University of Wisconsin at Madison’s Arlington Agricultural Research Station will be pleased to hear that the State Building Commission has endorsed a plan to spend up to $275,000 for a new liner for the station’s swine-manure storage pit. According to The Capital Times, a newspaper in Madison, the old liner on the 1.5-million-gallon pit sprang a leak over the summer.
