Once there was a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest. On a lark, Chaplin himself entered. He came in third.
I haven't been able to locate a photo of the winner, but he probably was littler than the Little Tramp, with a more pronounced black mustache, a smaller hat, his pants baggier, his shoes larger.
