Why Not Subsidize All Students' Tuition?
To the Editor:
I am pleased to see that Princeton University is moving to ease student indebtedness ("Princeton Increases Endowment Spending to Replace Students' Loans With Grants," February 9). As other elite universities look at ways to make college more affordable, they might consider some of the initiatives taken by one of Princeton's overlap institutions, Rice University.
