Who Is Studying and Teaching at Community Colleges?

Congratulations are in order to The Chronicle for publishing its special October 29 section, providing a fascinating and comprehensive overview of the state of contemporary American community colleges. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get an accurate assessment of where community colleges stand in today's society. But allow me to offer some observations.
