White House Weighs Changes to Policies on Human Subjects
The White House has questioned the legality of an agreement that the government has asked many researchers conducting studies on human subjects to sign as a condition of receiving federal funds. The agreement was prepared by the Office of Human Research Protections, whose director announced his resignation in mid-October.
