Whether or Not to Boycott Israel
To the Editor:
Although it pleased me to learn that Dena S. Davis is critical of Israeli behavior toward the Palestinians, I do not think she made a strong case in her April 18 essay, "Why Academic Boycotts Are Wrong" (The Review). She spent most of the piece telling us about her conversations with Israelis and students, and then offered those as proof that it is important "for people to talk with one another."
